EXCELLENCE PIPELINE
COLLECTION
When handling soiled linen appropriate PPE (gloves, mask & an apron). Colour coded systems assist with easy identification of the linen and soil types. Before leaving the hospital, the fabrics, including patient clothing, bed sheets, ward towels, surgical towels, and medical staff uniforms, are sorted and packaged separately according to categories.
DRYING
Wet linen is transferred in clean trolleys to the tumblers for loading. The drying setting is checked as per the type of linen to prevent wrinkling, shrinkage, or damage of linen.
SORTING
Linen is further sorted at the facility and into different washing machines according to medical staff work clothes and textiles used during duty hours; common ward textiles; contaminated and soiled textiles; infectious textiles etc.
IRONING & FOLDING
Automatic ironers & folders, vacuum press boards, universal folders ensures smooth and wrinkle free disinfected linen is transported back to the hospitals.
WASHING
The washing and disinfection of medical fabrics are stored separately and washed as soon as possible. Aqualin sorts the fabrics again according to their texture, color, type, and degree of dirt, and washes them separately with appropriate detergents. The washing process ensures logistics and cleanliness, with dirty and clean laundry being strictly separated.
PACKAGING
The clean linen is checked to meet quantity standard and for zero contamination packaging and stored.
STORAGE
The finished goods are to stored in the clean storage area, wrapped in a protective covering before delivery to ensure disinfection.
Dispatching
After crossing all barriers of quality check, the clean linen packages are dispatched for the hospital.
